About the Item

Rare antique collector's Art Nouveau figurative piece by Swedish artist Allan Ebeling. Vide-poche bowl / ashtray / figurine / wall hanging manufactured at the Bo Fajans studio in the early 1920s. The pastel colored bowl is shaped like soft rolling waves surrounding a fish with big eyes. Hand-painted in light green crackle glaze with a yellow tint, light blue, light green and olive brown colors. Hole on the back so item can be used as decorative piece on a wall. Original manufacturer’s label on the cheek of the fish. Signed, stamped and numbered under base. Beautiful vintage condition. Sweden, early 1920.
