1980s Opaline Murano Italian Vide-Poche Catchall Bowl, Hollywood Regency Style

About the Item

Luxurious and extremely beautiful 1980s vide poche or catchall. Hand made in Murano, Italy from Opaline Glass. Ideal for daily jewelry, earrings, rings, bracelets etc. This stunning opaline glass reflects, diffuses and warps light in extraordinary ways for very beautiful and mesmerizing effects. The vide poche is oval in shape with an embossed oval frame surrounding a lower flat oval area for safely holding jewelry or other small objects. The frame itself has a ribbed pattern pressed into it, resembling a twisted rope. A highly versatile piece, it could be said resembling the ornate ultra luxe of the Hollywood Regency style. However, due to the size and unitary material use, it also works well in more minimalist settings. Suitable for the bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, vanity and entranceway. Wherever you place this beautiful object, it is sure to enamor.
