419-G Hand Crafted Golden Promise Fine Fronds Tray With 22kt Gold Detail by Helen Prior A delicate hand-crafted tray, organic in shape with a torn clay edge in natural speckled stoneware clay. Part of the Golden Promise Series- a theme of abstracted and stylized elements from nature. A graphic fern radiates golden delicate fronds. The decoration is created using Mishima- a process of cutting and pressing motifs into clay creating fine channels for inlaying color. The pattern is also embellished with handpainted white slip and 22kt gold. Each piece is entirely hand-crafted and hand decorated. Each is a work of art.
