Black and Pink Onyx Marble Cigar Ashtray, Vide Poche, Catchall, Vessel, Bowl

About the Item

This is a substantial Mid-Century Italian modernist polished marble or onyx cigar ashtray, desk tidy, vide poche, or catchall crafted in the 1970s. This vessel or bowl features an extra thick marble slab with a star-shaped carved design in black and pink colored stone marquetry. There is no visible maker's mark. The vide poche is in good condition, with no pronounced signs of wear. Measurements: 8.25 in wide (21 cm) x 7.07 in deep (18 cm) x 1.19 in high (3 cm).
