Stunning clear crystal mustard dish or appetizer bowl is stamped Bayet. This well known crystal art house was located in Vannes-Le-Chatel, France.
Beginning in 1963, glassworks at Vannes Le Châtel moved into the production of lead crystal, such as the bowl offered here. This Mid-Century Modernist decorative bowl is a shining example of crystal created in Vannes, Lorraine. The shape is reminiscent of a petal on an open flower.
Wonderful craftsmanship, heavy piece of quality crystal.
