Midcentury Vide Poche by Fris Edam, The Netherlands, 1950s. Wonderful little bowl / vide poche / ashtray by the famous modernist Fris workshop. Clear lines, Fine glazing and a distinct midcentury design. This ceramic piece was made at the Fris pottery workshop in Edam, Holland. Pieces by Fris were very influential in post-war Dutch pottery and therefore the work is still very collectible. Very good vintage condition.
