Oldfors Ekeby 1950s Graphic Modernist Vide Poche Plate

About the Item

Softly shaped Swedish Modern oval vide poche dish with strong geometric decor. Dusty tea green and anthracite black glaze separated by one diagonal unglazed line in the middle. Designed and handmade by Gothenburg-born Hjördis Oldfors (1920-2014) for Upsala Ekeby in the mid-1950s. Stamped under base. Beautiful vintage condition. Sweden, 1950s.
