About the Item
Japanese contemporary decorative porcelain charger, intricately hand painted in blue, purple and red, a signed piece by highly acclaimed master porcelain artist of Japan’s Imari-Arita region. The artist is the recipient of numerous awards for his exceptional porcelain work and his unique signature gold and platinum work on porcelain. In 2016, the British Museum added a work by this artist to its collection of contemporary Japanese porcelain in the Imari-Arita polychrome enamel tradition. The artist's profile is available upon request.
The vase is an elegant canvas for a scene of stunning wisterias in full bloom presented in purple and peach and elegant vines, gracefully hanging to decorate the surface of this magnificent piece on a stunning textured blue background.
This porcelain vase comes in a custom made wooden case signed by the artist.
