Mouthblown Murano Art Glass Dish with asymmetrical shape and mutil
About the Item
This is a truly unique and individual piece of Murano Art Glass with an asymmetrical shape and pattern in Autumnal hues of Golds, Greens, Rusts, Orange all accentuated with Gold Leaf blown into the glass
This stunning dish uses the very traditional Decoro Pasta glass blowing technique of Venice, where tiny pieces of colours glass and rolled into the clear molten glass before its blown into the final shape - this is what creates the totally random formation of colours patches on the surface. And if that wasn't intricate enough the whole dish is backed with White/ Bianca glass as shown on the underside and where the edges are traditionally folded in on themselves to create the very Venetian undulating edge
This dish is 20cm Diameter x 6cm High and weighs 725 grams/ 1.6 lbs
