Lightweight and compact, this pair of small footed dishes or bowl lids exemplify the classic Japanese lacquer dishware used daily for food and drink. Each dish is simply shaped a with flat surface, low, raised sides, and a short footed base. Ideal today as a shallow dish or plate, each is coated in a layer of glossy, cinnabar-red red lacquer. Minor scuffing to lacquer.
