1920s Bronzed Swinging Golfer & Marble Catch All/ Vide-Poche
Located in West Palm Beach, FL
1920s Bronzed Swinging Golfer & Marble Catch All/Vide-Poche France, Circa 1920s This finely made 1920s French bronzed metal sculpture captures the elegance and precision of a golfer in mid-swing. Dressed in period attire, including knickerbocker trousers, a sweater, and a cap, the figure showcases remarkable detail and a rich patina that enhances its sense of movement and realism. Standing 10 inches high, 6 inches wide, and 8 inches deep, the sculpture is mounted on a luxurious octagonal black marble base. The base features a circular recessed tray, making it a functional yet decorative catch-all, perfect for use as a desk organizer, coin tray, or vide-poche. The golfer figure itself measures 9 inches high, 4 inches wide, and 4 inches deep, highlighting its well-balanced proportions. The contrast between the bronzed figure and the polished marble adds to its refined Art Deco aesthetic, making it an ideal piece for golf enthusiasts, collectors of vintage sports memorabilia...
