Rare Dick Talbett Centerpiece Plate Bowl, Mid Century Modern Art Glass

About the Item

Rare centerpiece glass plate or bowl was handmade by Dick Talbett for his studio Ancient Glass in 1950s as a part of Radiant Temple series. The bowl features abstract graphic pattern in gold and silver in the center surrounded by organic, flowing border done in darker metals. It is a statement piece and a beautiful example of American Mid Century Modern art studio glass. The bowl measures 14,7/8" in diameter; it is signed on the bottom with artist stamp and "Talbett Glass Radiant Temple".
