About the Item

Transparent blue green art glass Archimede Seguso decorative bowl made by Murano. This striking decorative bowl resembles the shape of a clam. It was designed by Archimede Seguso and made in the 1960s in Murano, Italy. The transparent art glass features hints of a brown undertone. Made with Murano art glass formed in a thick shape. This clam shaped art glass has two flat surfaces which it can be placed on. It’s in good condition with natural air bubbles and some wear (as shown). Archimede Seguso is a well known glass maker in the world of Murano. He is revered as the greatest Murano maestro of the 20th century. He is often known as the "master of animals" for his many animal glass figurines.
