About the Item

Here is a very nice set of four small trays by Jane and Gordon Martz for Marshall Studios. There are two rectangular trays with a striped sgraffito design and two that are more of an oval shape with an atomic sgraffito motif. All four are signed and retain original Marshall Studio labels. It appears these have never been used. One of the striped trays has a small indentation around the rim that is slightly dark--we do not believe this is a chip, but rather a slight imperfection from the time of manufacturing--it appears to be glazed over. The rectangular trays measure 3 7/8" by 6 1/4" and are about 3/4" high. The more oval trays measure 3 3/4" by 6 1/2" and are approximately 5/8" high. These are a great example of the Martz's tabletop designs and could be used for many purposes--from trinket trays to plates for serving small bites.
