This striking modernist Space Age aluminum bowl, vide poche, was crafted in the mid-20th century in France. The elongated canoe-shaped piece has a typical spatial ship design. The catchall is polished cast aluminum and lined with a bright red-orange enamel accent coating. This desk tidy is the perfect accessory for pen storage or other desk smalls. There is no visible maker's mark.
