A gorgeous Antique Silver mounted Viennese Enamel Trinket Box in the shape of a Renaissance style cup and cover. The entire exterior and interior of this object are covered in richly coloured and detailed enamelled imaged and patterns. The anterior cover is embellished with an impressive enamel panel depicting a nude woman with long curling brown hair, grasping a stemmed rose and lounging against a sheer flowing fabric wrap. The posterior cover and rounded sides of this cigarette case are plain and unembellished. This case is fitted with a plain rounded thumbpiece and push fit catch, which when released reveals two hinged compartments. This impressive example of antique silverware retains the original gilt interior.
