About the Item
English, circa 1867.
An unusual antique biscuit barrel or humidor. The main body is formed of pressed glass with a greek key border, paneled window and a reeded edge. The glass rests inside a lotus form carved oak base and fitted with a matching oak lid. Marked to interior of barrel with registry mark.
