18th Century English Bible Box

About the Item

Mid-18th-century bible box from England, made from oak. The top is made from two boards, and rests on the box, which is hand carved decorated on three sides. The box has pegged construction and has pie crust edges on the sides of the front panel. The box rests upon bracket feet.
