18th Century Swedish genuine country Folk Art box with original paint

About the Item

A very beautiful folk Art box from Burträsk ,Västerbotten Northern Sweden. A very decorative original painting that is typical of that region. Nice salmon pink original painting inside. It is written on the lid in pencil Memory from father 8/11 1896. So suitable for storage. The lid is opened by pressing the iron button & gently lifting the lid with the handle at the top. The box is stable in construction. Made in painted pine.
