Stunning 1927 Pewter Jar by Herman Bergman, Sweden. Possible a design by Nils Fougstedt who was a prolific Swedish designer during the Swedish Grace period and well known for his work with Pewter. The Lid has a beautiful etching showing a man and fish in a seaside setting. The inside is lined with a dark green fabric. Age appropriate wear.
