1950s Alhambra Palace Granada Spain Handmade Footed Moorish Vanity Box. Vintage Beautiful wood marquetry jewelry trinket Box, Architectural Model of the Granada's Alhambra Palace Moorish Islamic Art. DIMENSIONS: Height: 5.25 in (14 cm)Width: 6.25 in (15.50 cm)Depth: 8 in (20.32 cm) Beautiful multicolored hand crafted inlaid wood mosaic marquetry souvenir building box in the shape of the 14th century Granada's Alhambra Palace in Spain that showcase some of the finest Moorish Islamic art and architecture in Europe. Renowned for their intricately carved stucco work with Arabic inscriptions. The Alhambra in Granada is considered the masterpiece of Hispano-Muslim art. The building consists of a rectangular courtyard centered on a marble fountain with twelve sculpted lions. This decorative rectangular box depicts the intricately detailed fanciful Moorish arches and geometric Islamic designs, columns and arabesques that make the Alhambra one of the world's greatest examples of Islamic architecture. The architectural elements are on all four sides of the box, each side is framed by white plastic architectural columns supporting a Moorish arch embossed with Islamic script and the court of the lions. Very detailed in wood and beige composite plastic. The Moorish box is decorated with mosaic marquetry with an inlaid geometric pattern in various colors. When opened the inside reveals a generous space lined in red felt. A truly beautiful souvenir building Moorish box for your collection of Islamic art, architectural replicas, or figural architectural boxes.
