19th Century American Leather and Tack Box

About the Item

Beautiful, early 19th century leather box with heart and diamond tack pattern on the top. Likely a marriage gift or just a gift of love. Retaining the original leather covering with brass tac work and bale. The rich, warm patina of the leather is a great contrast to the brightly colored interior. Key included. Everything about the box is original.
