19th Century, English Tartan Wrapped Lap Desk w/ Embossed Leather

About the Item

English with Scottish influence, 19th century. A fine quality antique 19th century lap desk constructed with a mahogany frame which has been wrapped in Scottish Tartan paper. The interior has a beautiful period embossed leather "desk", pen tray and small glass ink well. Unmarked.
