19th Century French Walnut and Brass Writing Boxe

About the Item

Beautiful walnut desktop box which opens into a writing slope. Decorated on the outside with 2 decorative inlaid tunbridge ware bands. Box opens out to a beige fabric writing slope which opens both ways to allow access for further storage. No ink bottle present. Wear consistent with age and used. We have changed the fabric.
