19th Century hand painted tine decorative box

About the Item

19th century hand painted tine decorative box circa 1860. Good quality Swedish tine box, used for storing valuables or foods for secure storage.  This example in it's original blue paint scheme, and still functions with its self locking lid. Expected surface marks and minor staining, age split to top with old metalwork repair.  Minor loss to wood work on front edge.
