A rare and stunning small mosaic intarsia marquetry inlaid dome-top chest form table box with beautifully aged heavily worn distressed patina.
Imagine the countless hours it must have taken a highly trained artisan to secure each and every tiny piece!
Exquisitely hand-crafted in the 19th century, Victorian era Tunbridge taste, having a domed hinged lid, the exterior features intricately decorated colorful mosaic-work throughout.

Good distressed antique condition with nicely aged warm rich dark patina. Attractive appearance, retaining original antique character and charm throughout, including scattered nicks, chips, and heavy losses. Wear consistent with age and indicative of significant use.
