19th Century Walnut and Brass Dome-Top Wood English Sewing Box

About the Item

English walnut and brass dome-top box with Mother-of-Pearl, ca. 1860. With 6 sewing tools, 4 have mother of pearl handles, 7 pieces of circular fabric samples that were in the box. Plaque inscribed Trussell 16 & 17 St. Brighton. Has a lock but no key, felt bottom and fabric inside in very good condition can also be used as a jewelry box or tea caddy.
