About the Item
Impressive decorative boxes made completely by hand.
The shape of the box is round and low, called in Italy "a pagnottella fiorentina" which means in the shape of a loaf of bread that is produced regularly in Florence.
On the entire surface of the box, embossments, chisels and engravings depicting flowers and leaves were made.
Opening the box, you can see that the upper edge of the "bowl" is shaped by hand and fits perfectly with the lower edge of the lid.
The handle of the box was made with the casting technique and represents a finely engraved leaf finished by hand.
The inside of the box has been gilded with 24kt gold, highlighting the beauty of the embossment even when looking at it from the inside.
Of large dimensions, this box is suitable for placing in any furnishing style, from the most modern to the classic.
