An extraordinarily rare and visually striking 16th-century Venetian iron treasure coffer, showcasing the height of Renaissance artistry and engineering. Crafted in the early to mid-1500s, this richly ornamented strongbox reflects the opulence and sophistication of the Venetian Republic at its zenith. Entirely hand-forged and embellished with intricate raised motifs, the surface is further adorned with exquisite hand-painted foliate patterns in traditional Venetian red and burnished gold leaf.
