A stunning and scarce antique English Victorian era burlwood voting box.
Hand-crafted in the 19th century, the small table box having a rectangular case with hinged lid top fitted with two brass slots, the exterior finished in warm rich highly figured burled walnut.
Dimensions:
3.25" High, 6.5" Wide, 3.5" Deep
As warm and attractive as it is functional, having the ideal petite size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a decorative table box, tea caddy, jewelry casket, trinket case, coin bank, and more.
Great original antique condition with beautifully aged warm rich patina. Strong, sturdy, stable, structurally sound, retaining antique character and charm, including scattered losses to interior lining, interior divider and key. Minimal wear consistent with age. Presents well
