About the Item
A handsome and very unusual late Victorian / early Edwardian biscuit box made from solid English Oak, beautifully carved with a bark design.
The fittings are made from EPNS (Eletro-Plated Nickel Silver) and the interior is lucky to retain the original creamware liner still in excellent condition with usual age related glaze crazing.
Excellent condition measuring 7" (max) in diameter x 6 1/2" tall or 10" tall to top of handle while upright.
