Beautiful, petite historicism box from made in Germany, circa 1880.
* Oak wood, birch veneer with maple and ebony inlays on the edges.
* Large oval inlay with beautiful shell motif and pyrography on the top of the lid.
* Ionized egg-and-dart molding protruding at the bottom edge.
* Interior in oak with visible remnants of interior fittings.
* Brass hinges and lock (replaced and functioning).
* Restored condition with shellac hand polish.
