About the Item
This stunning decorative lidded box dates from the Art Deco period. The piece was expertly crafted in France circa 1930. The important rectangular shape is made of varnished walnut wood, all carved and shaped. The modernist shape is contrasted with polished aluminum sides. There is no visible designer's mark.
Measurements: 9.44 in wide (24 cm) by 5.94 in deep (15 cm) by 4.32 in high (11 cm).
