Bakelite minaudière box. Vintage Italian bakelite tortoise box with hinged mirrored removable lid, hinged lid double compartments and two open compartments. Originally a lady’s makeup powder compact which holds paper blotter, lipstick, rouge and powder. Great rich butterscotch colour. Italy, 1930’s.
