About the Item
Elegant Baroque casket crafted in oak, richly veneered with hand-cut walnut and finished with ebonised mouldings.
The lid features pronounced Baroque-style panels with delicate bone inlays and refined ebonised edging. The front is decorated with intricate marquetry,
including a central star motif in bone and ebonised wood, framed by small bone squares.
Retains its original lock and silver-plated iron fittings on the inside. Carefully repolished to highlight its warm patina.
