Early 19th Century Rosewood Sewing Box. This beautiful and large box has a simple elegance, with its bombe, sarcophagus form and beautifully grained rosewood. The exterior is decorated with a well carved gadrooned border, and the interior is fitted with a single tray.
A classic piece, this rosewood box would make a beautiful accent on a library shelf or handsomely decorated chest of drawers.
