About the Item
Egg on tripod engraved in 925/1000 gilded silver with translucent enamel on fire on guilloché, Russian Empire style inspired by the eggs of Carl Fabergé late 19th century, early 20th century. Measurements: diameter of the egg cm. 6.7 height cm. 9.7 placed on a hand-engraved tripod total height cm. 13.7. Total weight gr. 241. Designed by Franco Salimbeni in 1965 and manufactured in Florence at the Salimbeni company headquarters, with completely manual execution by artisan artists with a high thickness plate and large reinforcements suitable for supporting numerous high-fire enamel firings at approximately 750 < 800° C.
It is a new object that has never been used but is considered vintage because it was built more than 20 years ago.
