About the Item
Large egg on smooth tripod with 8-day mechanical skeletal Swiss movement with alarm, in 925/1000 sterling silver gold plated with translucent fired enamel on guilloché and hand-painted miniature of garlands in Russian Art Nouveau style inspired by the eggs of Carl Fabergé early 1900s. Measurements: diameter of the egg cm. 8 height cm. 11.8, inserted in a smooth tripod total height approx. 15 cm. Tripod with triangular base 10 x 10 cm, 8.5 cm high.Total silver weight g. 625. Designed by Franco Salimbeni in 1969 and manufactured in Florence at the Salimbeni company headquarters with completely manual execution by artisan artists with a thick sheet and large reinforcements suitable for supporting numerous high-fire enamel firings at approximately 750 < 800° C
It is a new object that has never been used but is considered vintage because it was built more than 20 years ago.
