An elegant round pewter lidded box by GAB (Guldsmedsaktiebolaget), Sweden, made in 1934 (date letter H4). The box features a finely ridged surface and a black-stained wooden knob with turned rings – a design strongly influenced by Swedish Grace, the Scandinavian interpretation of Art Deco.
The interior is gilded, lending a luxurious and refined look. Ideal for cufflinks, jewelry, or small treasures. Likely designed by Jacob Ängman, a notable designer active at GAB during this period.
