English 18th Century George II Style Apprentice Chest
About the Item
A lovely, English apprentice chest from the 18th century, circa 1780. This wonderful work is that of an apprentice that studied under a woodworker. In order to work for the woodworker, the apprentice would have to build a box, utilizing his best skills. The chest is oak and its hardware is brass. It has a unique crown-like trim around the top making this chest one of a kind.
