English 19th century Gilt Metal and Velvet box

About the Item

An outstanding English 19th century Gilt Metal and Velvet box. This wonderfully decorative box is raised by a flat base decorated with swaging foliate garlands leading to the body displaying Rinceau designs with floral accents. The lid continues the Rinceau and floral motif, centered by the royal crest of William III, King of England. The interior is lined with royal purple Velvet and framed by the Gilt Metal rim.
