Visiting card case box in sterling silver designed by Frederick Manson.
Beautiful antique presentation visiting card holder, created in the city of Birmingham England at the atelier of the silversmith Frederick Manson, back in the 1894. Crafted in an irregular shape in solid .925/.999 sterling silver and decorated with an incised pattern of leaves and lines. This box is a great historical piece and still retain the original presentation fitted leather box from the luxury retailer shop in London, "Godwin & Son".
Weight: 47.65 Grams, (30.54 Dwt).
Measurements: 95.25 mm by 56 mm by 6 mm (3.75 x 2.6 x 0.24 Inches).
Hallmarks Stamped with the British marks; the anchor for the city of Birmingham, the maker's mark F.M associated to Frederick Manson, the letter U for the production year of 1894, the mark for the assay of the silver.
Frederick Manson, his atelier was located at the Spencer Street, in the city of Birmingham.
Collateral: It is accompanied by the original fitted presentation box.
Condition: The overall condition of this box is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and the authenticity.

Exceptional art deco rectangular case, created in Paris France at the jewelry workshop atelier of Strauss Allard et Meyer, back in the 1925-1926. This piece has been carefully crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with gilt interiors. It is decorated with applications on both sides of vivid red-orange lacquer. This beautiful box was made with cushioned edges and is fitted with an six barrel tension hinge, a push lock and a barrier to storage cards. It is in mint condition with no trace of use or wear and can be easily used as a luxury presentation cards-box.
Weight: 65.30 Grams, (41.86 Dwt).
Measurements: 55 mm by 68 mm by 9.5 mm (2.16 x 2.68 by 0.39 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; the Parisian maker's mark SAM associated to Strauss Allard & Meyer, the French national mark for the assay of the .925 silver and the serial numbers 12731.

This extraordinary and beautiful cased-box, was created in London England during the Art Deco period. Has a great provenance and was designed by the famous silversmiths and retail store of Finnigans Limited, back in the 1932. The thematic of this box is rare and very popular. Has been crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver standard with gilded interiors. The case has been made in a cushioned compact shape with eight barrels hinge and a push pressure thumb. The main panel on top is illustrated with a landscape scene and a Formula-1 racing red car, with the number L6, all realized with polychrome enamels. The reverse is embellished with engine turned guilloche decorations. This fine piece is masterfully worked with extreme details and is a very especial example for any collector, or a wonderful gift for someone special. It is in perfect preserved condition.
