About the Item
This stunning ornamental lidded box with a marquetry design was made in France around the 1930s. It features a distinctive raised design with a rectangular body, composed of lacquered tropical woods and adorned with geometric marquetry on the lid. The bottom of the lid features beautiful rose flower marquetry. Although there is no visible maker's mark, it is a remarkable artwork decoration piece. The box will do great as a jewelry box on an elegant vanity.
Dimensions: 9.07 in wide (23 cm) by 5.50 in deep (14 cm) by 2.75 in high (7 cm).
