A charming hand-made piece, showing a paper grisalle image of four women in period dress, a boudoir scene, on the front.
Hand painted accents in French blue surrounding the image and bordering the yellow ochre holder.
The metal holder has rolled rims and side cutouts for the match strikers.
An unusual little bibelot, measuring 1.5 in. L x .75 in. W x 2.5 in. H
Crazing and fritting to the lacquer as expected.
