About the Item
"LAHSA" box by Roberto Giulio Rida
Unique Italian-made box, conceived and created by Roberto Giulio Rida after a long journey to Tibet.
The box evokes ancient and centuries-old temples.
Roberto Giulio Rida wanted to replicate a Tibetan temple to scale using Italian materials.
The box was created using several layers of wood, thus creating an overhanging decoration.
In a second step, the box was covered by skilled craftsmen with vintage Murano red glass with micro bubbles inside for decoration, interspersed with bands of thick green crystal ground and polished by hand. This handmade decoration makes the embossed decoration stand out even more.
A clear glass box was specially made inside so that the box is usable.
The R.G.RIDA signature is on the inside embedded in the wood.
