About the Item
"GOLD STARS" box by Roberto Giulio Rida
The box has a maple wood shell, and it is one of a kind.
The rectangular box was covered on the outside with 132 gold-colored, paste-colored glass tiles.
The tiles are made of vintage glass derived from the productions of the 1950s and no longer in production.
Each glass tile was cut, ground, polished and mirrored and placed one by one and by hand so as to create the elegant " star" design, iconic Collection of Artist and Designer Roberto Giulio Rida.
Also part of the "STARS" Collection are furniture, bedside tables, and mirrors.
A clear crystal storage box was specially created inside, intended to hold any joy and/or delight.
The box was designed as a container but also as a kinetic sculptural object, thanks to the facets of each individual crystal.
The box is signed on the inside rib of the bottom with the RGRIDA logo. The box is unique and non-repeatable.
The box will be properly packed and protected by a fumigated wooden crate with RGRIDA logo for international transportation.
