About the Item
The classic art deco-inspired Ecaille (Scale) pattern perfectly matches the diameter of the box lid, highlighting the contrast between the smooth box body and the finely chiseled lid.
With its tight curves and matt gradations, the Ecaille pattern will complement a range of boxes or small decorative objects from the Nuage or Cheveron ranges.
This small decorative box is perfect for holding little treasures, secrets or jewelry. Made from gold-plated brass, this round box is characterized by a sandblasted mat underside and interior finish.
Promoting French know-how and manufacturing, an exclusive attention is paid to each object, giving it a unique and lasting character.
Made to order and available in other sizes and finishes on request, the boxes are signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Carole Serny
Carole Serny designs and manufactures by hand, using precious metals or cuprous metals, objects intended for interior design, decoration or the art of living. As certified craftswoman, she combines the techniques of silversmithing and chiseling to create unique or limited series pieces. Winner of the French 2020 Arts Crafts Young Creation Prize, her approach combines traditional know-how with a technical curiosity opened to experimentation and a contemporary aesthetic, at the border between art and craft, between sensitivity and rigor. Through many inspirations: nature, art, architecture, fashion, myths and legends or even mathematics, Carole Serny's goal is to achieve a fluidity, a clarity between the function, the form and the ornament of an object.
