About the Item

Handpainted crab terrine by Michel Caugant dating from the 1950s. Michel Caugant was the son of a French pâté maker, he designed terrines for his father's factory. The terrine was manufactured by Herberstein, Portugal. Signed "Modèle déposé créé pour Caugant par H. Herberstein. Faïence fabriquée au Portugal", in very good vintage condition with light wear. There are no chips or cracks noticed.
