About the Item
Beautiful copper and leather wrapped decorative box in the manner of Karl Springer.
Skeleton of the box is wood. Top and edges consists of shingled cut copper squares affixed with copper nails. Sides of the box are wrapped with a tough leather siding also affixed with copper nails.
The box has exceptional patina and boasts a beautiful array of earth tones.
Would look great as an accent to any mid century modern, minimalist, natural, and contemporary designed rooms.
Box is unmarked but resembles the styles of Karl Springer and other famed designers.
