Vintage South Asian / Kashmir hand painted papier mâché box with removeable lid - featuring a profuse floral pattern over the top and sides set against a black lacquer background - high gloss finish - remnants of original paper label to the base - unsigned - India - mid 20th century.
Excellent vintage condition - all original - minor scuffs and paint loss along the inside edges where the top and bottom meet from use - wear to the base - no loss - no damage - no repairs - signs of age and use.
